Melanie: You’re right in the target demographic.

Lee: I am the target! Plus, I’ve got the dough. I’m a big gamer. In essence, Courtney Solomon, our director, he was our Dungeon Master. (Pause.) You know what turned me off to the game? My own imagination was stronger than that of the DMs I was playing with as a kid. So, I’d be like “Wow, what about this? What about that?” and they’d wind up throwing me out, saying, “Why don’t you start your own game?”

But if you have a Dave Arneson, or some of these guys running the game, it’s going to be insane.

Melanie: Out of all the cast and crew, except for Courtney and the game’s co-creator Dave Arneson -- who had a cameo -- you probably had the most experience with D&D. What’d you used to play?

Lee: Back then? I used to play rogues, or anything not a dwarf. Like mages. I liked magic-users.

Melanie: Magic-users are always more sexy.

Lee: I always write with my autograph, “Dwarves are sexiest.” We are, truth be told.   Next Page »
